At Parkman there are many ways to grow in Christ. Here are four primary ways: Sunday worship, service, small groups, and Sunday School.
Sunday worship is the most important means for growing in our faith. Corporate worship establishes and equips new and mature believers through hearing the Word preached, participating in the sacraments, and engaging Christians in community. We urge faithful attendance at both morning and evening services.
We desire that each member serve. If you are looking for ways to deepen your walk with Christ and build community, serving in a ministry alongside other believers provides opportunities for both.
Small groups at Parkman serve numerous purposes, but their main aim is to provide space for fellowship. Small groups offer a unique opportunity to connect with others in friendship and grow in your faith outside of Sunday.
Sunday School class is offered at Parkman. Our classes cover biblical studies, theology, church history, and practical topics. Sunday School is also a great means to enjoy fellowship with other members of the church.
Participating in Sunday worship, service, a small group, or Sunday School will greatly benefit each Christian’s growth in Christ.
The vision Jesus has for our church is really quite simple: Discipleship. Jesus envisions people who think like Jesus, look like Jesus, live like Jesus, and worship Jesus who then help other people to think like Jesus, look like Jesus, live like Jesus, and worship Jesus.
